SCS Transportation Department added another achievement to their list of accomplishments. School Bus Fleet Magazine ranked them #22 in the nation.
Sumner County Schools is the only school district in the state to be awarded the 2021 Diesel Emissions Reduction Act (DERA) School Bus Rebate Award and they were the first in the state to have the new Fully Illuminated Stop Arm and Retro-Reflective Illuminated School Bus Sign!
Sumner County bus drivers make 726 runs a day for a grand total of 7,902 miles every day. (That mileage does not include field trips or sporting events.)
