Submissions Due Soon for Hendersonville’s Annual Gingerbread House Competition

Start your Ovens! The Annual Gingerbread House Competition is near!

For entry forms and registration information, please contact Kimbro Air on Volunteer Drive or go to https://holidayfesttn.org/ and download the forms. Forms are due by November 25th and Houses must be delivered on December 4th before noon.

“We are honored and thrilled to announce that the event will be held at Park Place and local dignitaries including Maurice Sanchez and others will be on hand to judge our Gingerbread House” said Lynda Evjen, one of the founders of HolidayFest.

The categories include Professional, Adult, Youth (13 to 18 years of age) and Youth (12 and under). Entry fees range from $25.00 to $5.00 and the winning Gingerbread Houses will receive ribbons as well as a cash prizes ranging from $200 to $10.00, depending on the category – something for everyone.

The Gingerbread Houses will be displayed during the St. Nicholas Ball on Dec. 9th at the Premier Center on Volunteer Dr. in Hendersonville where they will be auctioned to the highest bidder at the St. Nicholas Ball.

The proceeds from this auction will benefit Habitat for Humanities.
