Zachary Alex Hornsby, age 23 of Portland, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 in Portland.
Zachary was born in Hendersonville, Tennessee on November 18, 1999.
Zachary was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Dennis and Linda Carroll; uncle, Jason Carroll; aunt, Cynthia Lawson.
He is survived by his mother, Melissa (Robert) Lopez; father, Markus (Rita) Hornsby; paternal grandmother, Carolyn Mull; paternal grandfather, Clyde Hornsby; sisters, Andaya (Thomas) Gosnell and Anaya Hornsby; brother, Casey Lopez; nephews, Ricky Gosnell and Peter Gosnell; fur baby, Red; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral Services were held on Sunday, April 16th at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Portland with Jeremy Wells officiating. Interment will follow at Old Brush Cemetery with Leon Mull, Blake Mull, Markus Hornsby, Tay Garrett, Chris Lopez, Casey Lopez, Robert Lopez, and Jay Gaston serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the family was Saturday, April 15th from 3:00-7:00 PM and Sunday, April 16th from 12:00 PM until service time at 2:00 PM.
