Mr. William Loyd Martin Sr. age 74, of Portland, TN died Thursday, October 7, 2021 at his home in Portland, TN.
Mr. Martin was born January 27, 1947 in Centerville, TN the son of the late Loyd Alton and Edna Pauline Martin.
Mr. Martin is survived by his daughter, Brandi Martin “Jordan” of Bowling Green, KY, son Chuck Martin “Jennifer” of Portland, TN, and son Bill Martin “Lori” of Woodhaven, MI. His brother Haskell Martin “Connie” of Portland TN, brother Ydalle Martin “Donna” of Portland, TN, brother Leslie Martin of Gallatin, TN, six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Along with his parents, Mr. Martin was preceded in death by his wife Delma Martin. He was a United States Army veteran, serving from 1964 to 1967.
The family has chosen cremation with private services to be held at a later date. Gilbert Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements for the Martin family.
