Vetrus Mee, age 86 of Gallatin, passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2024.
Mr. Mee was born July 31, 1937 in Portland to the late Carl Vetrus Mee and Irene Deasy Mee.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by wife, Robbie Sue Piper Mee; and sisters, Ole Bell Woodall Morrison and Dorothy Stringer.
He is survived by daughters, Cathy Krantz of Hendersonville and Dana Heady of Gallatin; and grandsons, Justin Robert Proffitt and Jon Thomas “J.T.” Krantz; great-grandson, Jensen Stewart Krantz.
Mr. Mee worked for Cresent Furniture in Nashville for 42 years.
Funeral Service will be Thursday, April 4th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 3rd from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. and Thursday, April 4th from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Crestview Memory Gardens, with Jon Thomas Krantz, Ricky Stringer, Ronnie Stringer, Jerial Woodall, Bruce Chaffin, and Mike Binkley serving as pallbearers.
