Mrs. Theresa May age 65 of Portland, TN died Friday, December 3, 2021 at her home in Portland, TN.
Mrs. May was born February 26, 1956 in Jacksonville, FL the daughter of the late Eston Vernon Foster and Marlene Theresa Foster.
Mrs. May is survived by her husband Gary May of Portland, TN. Five sons Gary N. May Jr. (Tina) of Portland, TN, Christopher M. May (Lisa) of Hendersonville, TN, Jedidiah E. May (Vanessa) of Lafayette, TN, Joshua C. May of Washington, and Josiah I. May (Olivia) of Biloxi, MS. A brother Richard Gooding of Jacksonville, FL. Four sisters Roslyn Thomas of Jacksonville, FL, Donna McCoy of Nashville, TN, Tanita Walker of Owensboro, KY, and Dora Foster of Nashville, TN along with several grandchildren.
Along with her parents, Theresa was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Foster.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Gilbert Funeral Home in Portland, TN with Pastor Scott Dobbins officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM Monday and from 8:00 AM until service time Tuesday at Gilbert Funeral Home in Portland, TN.
