Rose Russell, age 82 of Gallatin, passed away Sunday, December 5, 2021.
Graveside Service will be Thursday, December 9th at 11:00 a.m. at Old Brush Cemetery, with Bro. Gerald Craig officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 8th from 2:00 – 7:00 p.m. and Thursday, December 9th from 9:00 a.m. until time to leave for the cemetery, at Family Heritage Funeral Home. Honoring her as pallbearers are Chris Glover, Caleb Kingrey, Carroll Harper, Jr, Carroll Harper, and Mark Estes.
Mrs. Russell was born May 8, 1939 in Sumner County to the late Clarence McCulley and Sallie Jones McCulley.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, William R. Russell; son Dwight Estes; and 1 grandchild.
She is survived by sons, Mark Estes (Sherrie) of Gallatin, Chris Estes (Teresa) of Hartsville, and Anthony Estes (Ilona) of Bethpage; sister, Sharlene Harper (Wayne) of Gallatin; 4 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Mrs. Russell retired from the City of Gallatin after 34 years of service.
