Ronnie Dale Poole, age 73, of Portland, passed away on June 27th, 2023 at NHC Place Sumner in Gallatin, Tennessee.
Ronnie was born in Portland on August 18th, 1949 to the late Talmadge Donoho Poole & the late Birdie Margaret Redferin Poole.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Jolene Nuckols & brother, Randall Poole.
Ronnie is survived by his wife of 45 years, Sherri Goostree Poole of Portland; son, Dr. Jim (Emma) Poole of Nolensville, TN; granddaughter, Anna (Jesse) Tapp of Murfreesboro, TN; siblings, Lila Anderson, Ruby Hester, Tammy Briley, David Poole (Jackie), Mickey Poole (Teresa), Douglas Poole, & Keith Poole; several nieces & nephews.
Ronnie worked as a tool and die maker and manufacturing engineer.
Funeral service for Mr. Poole will be at 1:00 pm on Friday, June 30th, 2023 at Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home with Pastor Matt Taylor officiating with interment at Maple Hill Cemetery.
Visitation for Mr. Poole will be on Thursday, June 29th, 2023 from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Friday, June 30th, 2023 from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm at Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home. https://www.wilkinsonwiseman.com
JC Keen, Chuck Chandler, Brad Clubbs, Richard Goostree, Ryan Goostree, & Caleb Goostree will serve as pallbearers. Joe Poole will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
