Mr. Odes Allen Biggs, age 94 of New Deal, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at Signature Healthcare of Portland.
Odes was born on June 14, 1929 in Fountain Head, Tennessee to the late James Hillard Biggs and Pearl Tomlinson Biggs.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Biggs; brothers, Cleon Biggs, Charles Biggs, and Cloyd. D. Biggs; sisters, Lovella McCloud, Nola Thompson, and Nadine Wright; son, Mike Biggs; son-in-law, Bobby Stewart.
He is survived by his daughters, Sharon (Michael) Henderson, and Gayla Stewart; grandchildren, Brandy (Kari) Mellard, Brandon (Erica) Evans, Kellye (Dustin) Cantrell, Blake (Amanda) Evans, Mallory (Cody) Greene; great-grandchildren, Allison Goins, Stella Cantrell, Sarah Goins, Carter Cantrell, Magnolia Evans, Truett Greene, Lily Kate Evans, Luke Odes Wilder Evans, and one great-grandchild on the way.
Funeral Services are scheduled to be conducted on Monday, September 18, 2023 at 2 pm from the Chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Portland with Brother Barry Briley and Brother Mike Brady officiating. Interment will follow in the Halltown Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will begin on Sunday, September 17, from 4 PM until 8 PM, and on Monday, September 18, from 10 AM until service time at 2 PM.
