Mr. Michael “Toby” Scruggs, age 65, of Westmoreland, TN passed away on April 11, 2024.
Toby is survived by his wife, Bonita Scruggs; his children, Candy (Joe) Scruggs, Jason Scruggs, Mary (Benny) Hall, Jesse Scruggs, Jay (Casey) Scruggs, Tabitha (Joe) LaMantia, Crystal (Lucas) Creasy, Kellie Scruggs and Jason Blackman; his sisters, Sam Rybolt, Flora Scruggs and Kathy Harlow; his brothers, Terry Scruggs and Snapper Scruggs; and his grandchildren, Eli, Little Mikey, Liberty, Jason, Jalyn, Jaden, Dee, Toby, Jessica, Anabelle, Brandon, Mya, Mason, Emma, Mitchell, Jay Michael, Jaylynn, Brinleigh, Jackson, Chase and Wynston; best friend, Darrel Farris & Jamie Cox.
Toby is preceded in death by his parents, Homer Eugene Scruggs, Sr. and Anna Katherine Scruggs; his son, Michael Scruggs, Jr.; grandchildren, Brieanna Scruggs and Danny Scruggs; and sisters, Glenda Spiegal, Nancy Scruggs and Joan Pettigrew.
The service for Mr. Michael “Toby” Scruggs will be held on Thursday, April 18 at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Leon Graves officiating. Interment will follow in Bush’s Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation: Tuesday, at 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM, Wednesday from 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM and Thursday from 8:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM at Woodard Funeral Home. https://www.rwoodardfuneralhome.com
