Mrs. Lola Mae Pounders of Gallatin, Tennessee passed away on Monday, May 16, 2022, she was 97 years old.
She was born on January 1, 1925 to the late Ross Kiser and Myrtle Adams Kiser.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Floyd M. Pounders; son, Kenneth Ray Pounders; brothers, Mac Kiser, Marvin Kiser, and B.J. Kiser.
Mrs. Pounders is survived by her daughter, Shirley (Don) Lee; grandson, Jeffrey (Angela) Lee; daughter in law, Chris Pounders; step-grandson, Joe Fiorentino; great-grandchildren, Tyler (Laurel) Lee, Holly Lee, and Sierra Lee; great-great-granddaughter, Josie May; and siblings, Eula Tomlinson, JD Kiser, Stella Leamons, Loyd Kiser, Dorothy Baker, Melvin Kiser, and Nell Jones.
Mrs. Pounders was a waitress at Gallatin Drug Store and The City Café for over 30 years. She also enjoyed spending her time baking pies and cakes.
The Pounders Family would like to personally thank the entire staff at NCH Place, Sumner, and Caris Hospice.
The family will hold a private graveside service on May 20, 2022.
