Lemuel “Lem” Dillard Absher, age 63 of Gallatin, Tennessee passed away on Monday, April 17, 2023.

He was born in Mt. Clemons, Michigan on August 3, 1959.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Della Absher; sister, Cindy Heath, and grandson, James Michael Freeman.

He is survived by his wife, Melanie Absher; his father, Charles Absher; children, Alex Absher, Alison Absher, Amanda (Danny) Perdue, and Adam Absher, grandchildren, Kayla Freeman, Madison Perdue, Connor Absher, Cohen Absher, Aiden Absher, Coda Absher; great-grandchildren, Melody Stokes, and Aiden James Stokes.

Lem had a life long love of Karate. He was a 5th degree blackbelt and was a two time world champion, and owned a Karate Studio in years past. He will be remembered as a good friend, and loving husband, father, and grandfather.

A celebration of life was at Crestview Funeral Home in Gallatin at 2 pm on Saturday, April 22, 2023, with visitation from 11 am until time of service. https://www.crestviewfh.com
