Joe Frank Carter, age 91, of Bethpage, Tennessee passed away on April 28th, 2023 at his residence in Bethpage.
Mr. Carter was born in Portland, TN on April 12th, 1932 to the late Ellis Carter & Beulah Mae Bracken Carter.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Carter was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Carter; daughter, Sharon Parker.
Mr. Carter is survived by his daughters, Meradith Smith of Bethpage & Teresa (Kenny) Hauskins; grandchildren, Amy Villarreal of Franklin, KY, Amanda Ann Sells of Portland, Matt Vanatta of Portland, Jessi (Steven) Goolsby of Portland, Danielle Smith of Bethpage, Lucas Hauskins of Portland, Steven Parker, & David Parker; 10 great-grandchildren; son-in-law, John Parker; & special friend, Mary Thompson.
Funeral service for Mr. Carter will be at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, May 2nd, 2023 at Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Roark officiating.
Visitation for Mr. Carter will be on Sunday, April 30th, 2023 from 2:00 pm-9:00 pm, Monday, May 1st, 2023 from 1:00 pm until 9:00 pm, & Tuesday, May 2nd, 2023 from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm at Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home.
Interment will be at Fairfield Cemetery.
There will be a masonic service for Mr. Carter on Monday, May 1, 2023 at 7 p.m. at Wilkinson Wiseman Funeral Home.
