Jerry Shrum, age 71 of Bethpage, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2023.
Mr. Shrum was born August 13, 1951 in Bethpage to the late W.T. Shrum and Virginia Sullivan Shrum.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brother, Danny Shrum.
He is survived by wife of 20 years, Deborah Goolsby Shrum of Bethpage; sons, Tim Shrum of Bethpage and Dylan Ferguson of Nashville; daughters, Terri White (Ricky) of Portland and Cristy Eden of Hartsville; sister, Brenda Spears (William) of Castalian Springs; sister-in-law, Shirley Shrum of Bethpage; 7 grandchildren, Dakota Shrum (Cayla), Landen Shrum, Christina Castell, Dixie White, Callye White, James Eden, and Breanna Diaz (Christian); and 7 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Shrum worked for J & J Upholstery, Rogers Garden Center, and the Sumner County Highway Department.
Celebration of Life Service was at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 8th in the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin, with Tommy Tucker officiating. Visitation was Saturday, July 8th from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin to assist the family with expenses.
