Jerry Norman Cook, age 84 of Hendersonville, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2023.
Jerry was a devoted son, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a graduate of Donelson High School and won the high school talent show with his beautiful voice. Jerry was a member of many gospel quartets in his younger days and traveled the south performing at various churches.
He lived most of his adult life in Hendersonville, Tennessee where he enjoyed the outdoors and spent many hours perfecting his lawn.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ed & Ruthie Blanche Cook, brother Robert W. “Billy” Cook and stepson Joey Rutter. He is survived by his wife Emma Kate Cook; children, Michael (Elizabeth) Cook, Steve (Monica) Cook, Michael Rutter, Jeffrey (Ann) Rutter; eight grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; sister Peggy (Lon) Mires and sister-in-law Jane Cook.

In Lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Jerry’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association Tennessee Chapter.
