Faye Joan Marshall, age 87 of Portland, passed away on March 6th, 2025 at Maple Cottage Assisted Living in Portland, TN to the late Virgil McGlothlin & the late Nannie Perigo McGlothlin. Joan was a lifelong member of Corinth Church of Christ in Portland. Joan loved to work in her garden and always loved her yard to look beautiful. Joan was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Marshall was preceded in death by husband, Hayden Marshall; siblings, Virgil “GC” McGlothlin, Homer Dewayne McGlothlin, William McGlothlin, & David Anderson McGlothlin.
Mrs. Marshall is survived by her siblings, Mary Sue Denning of Westmoreland, Wanda Simpson of Indianapolis, IN, Hazel (Jim) Hall of Gallatin, Ralph (Peggy) McGlothlin of Portland, Claudean Williams of Portland, & Raymond McGlothlin of Indianapolis, IN; several nieces and nephews; & a special “Thank You” to the staff at Maple Cottage Assisted Living.
Funeral service for Mrs. Marshall will be at 2:00 pm on Sunday, March 9th, 2025 at Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home with Bro. James Parker officiating.
Interment will be in Restlawn Memory Gardens in Franklin, KY.
Visitation for Mrs. Marshall will be on Saturday, March 8th, 2025 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm & on Sunday, March 9th, 2025 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home.
