Hendersonville’s biggest Independence Day celebration is back and better than ever. The Freedom Festival 2025, presented by Schell Brothers, will take place on Thursday, July 3 at Drakes Creek Park (120 E Main St, Hendersonville, TN 37075). Admission is free. Activities start at 5:00 pm, with fireworks scheduled for 9:00 pm, weather permitting.
Bring your family, set up lawn chairs or blankets, and enjoy an evening of food, live music, and a fireworks show to celebrate Independence Day the Hendersonville way.
Festival Schedule:
5:00 PM – Gates open with food trucks, merchant vendors, and live entertainment
5:00 – 8:00 PM – Kids Zone open
6:00 PM – The Tolleson Experiment performs their cosmic roots rock
7:10 PM – L’80s Nite brings the best of 80s rock and pop to the stage
9:00 PM – Fireworks show (weather permitting)

The following is allowed in the park:
- Chairs
- Blankets
- Cooler
- Food
- Leashed dogs
*Please remember alcohol is not allowed anywhere in the park.
Parking Info:
- Traffic patterns will be in place from 9:00 PM until event traffic clears:
- Parking lots and roads exiting onto Main St will be right turn only
- The park exit at Indian Lake Blvd (near Demos’) will be left turn only
- Indian Lake Blvd will be closed at Main St with no southbound travel, and Exit 7 (Indian Lake Blvd) will also be closed to southbound traffic
