Donna Thacker, age 51 of Gallatin, passed away on Monday, November 27, 2023.
Mrs. Thacker was born August 1, 1972 in Gallatin. She is preceded in death by father, Donald Reese Carter, Sr.
She is survived by husband of 14 years, Dale Thacker of Gallatin; mother, Carol Whiticker Carter of Gallatin; children, Arcelia Cline of Hendersonville, Brittany Kennedy (Chris) of Portland, and Justin Cline of Bowling Green, KY; brother, Donald Carter, Jr. (Adrian) of Gallatin; nephew, Donald Reese Carter III of Gallatin: and grandchildren, Annzley Flora, Alyza Flora, Atlas Flora, Saylor Kennedy, and “on-the-way”, Rylan Kennedy.
Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 1st at First Baptist Church, 205 East Main Street, Gallatin, TN 37066, with Dr. Travis Fleming officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, November 30th from 2:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin, 100 E. Albert Gallatin Avenue, Gallatin, TN 37066, and Friday, December 1st from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. at the church. Interment will follow the service at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, with Justin Cline, Donald Carter, Jr, Chris Kennedy, Steven Whiticker, George Nuckols, and Alex Perry serving as pallbearers.
