Carol Ann Woosley, age 75, of Gallatin, Tennessee, entered into rest on Saturday, April 6, 2024.

She was born on November 24, 1948, in Alturas, California.

Carol and her family moved to Tennessee when she was a young girl. She attended DuPont High School, in Old Hickory, and was in the graduating class of 1966. Upon graduation, Carol married her sweetheart, Sherman Woosley, on November 11, 1966. Later, Carol worked as a sales coordinator for Bobcat of Nashville, where she retired after a career of over 25 years.

Carol was a devoted Christian woman, who was delighted to serve her church. She was a member of New Heart Christian Church and was involved in coordinating music for worship services. Carol would also make baby blankets for the expecting mothers of the church.

She was passionate about creating and sharing art. Carol was a talented crocheter and knitter, and also enjoyed painting landscapes. She was known to encourage her grandchildren to create art as well. Carol was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister, who will be dearly missed.

Carol Ann Woosley is survived by her sons, Ted (Angi) Woosley, Jay (Jamie) Woosley; grandchildren, Brandon (Shelby Carroll) Woosley, Kelsey (Quin) Myers, Briana (Joshua) McAbee, Reagan Woosley, Ally (Logan) Feltner, Riley Woosley, Morgan Woosley; great-grandchildren, Carter Myers, Cooper Myers, Everett Feltner; brother, Mike Mayo; and sister-in-heart, Judy Toney.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Sherman G. Woosley; father, Crawford Arnold Mayo; mother, Billie Irene (Fulcher) Vogt; sisters, Patricia Lynn Mayo, Charlotte Landrum; and her fur baby, Emmie.

Funeral services will be conducted at New Heart Christian Church, located at 49 Business Park Rd., Lebanon, TN, 37090, on Saturday, April 13, 2024. Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M., until 2:00 P.M. https://www.crestviewfh.com

Pastor Paul Steiner will be officiating the memorial service in honor of Mrs. Carol Woosley at 2:00 P.M..
