Barbara Elaine Whitson, age 62, of Portland, passed away on September 30th, 2021 at Sumner Regional Hospital in Gallatin, Tennessee.
She was born on December 29th, 1958 to Edward O’Neail Whittimore and Susie Rebecca Hall.
Mrs. Whitson is survived by her daughter Megan Jenkins of Portland and son Joshua Jenkins of Portland; 4 grandchildren, Ryleigh Jenkins, Ethan Arellano, Jessica Jenkins, and Gavyn Jenkins; a sister, Anne Whittimore of Franklin, KY; 4 brothers, Danny Whittimore of Franklin, KY, David Whittimore of Franklin, KY, Don Whittimore of Portland, TN, and Sam Whittimore of Portland, TN.
Funeral service for Mrs. Whitson will be at 1:00 pm on Monday, October 4th, 2021 at Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Colovus officiating.
Visitation for Mrs. Whitson will be on Sunday, October 3rd, 2021 from 11:00 am until 9:00 pm & on Monday, October 4th, 2021 from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm at Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home.
Interment will be in Old Halltown Cemetery.
Joshua Jenkins, Brandon Keen, Alfredo Lopez, Danny Whittimore, Don Whittimore, and Sam Whittimore will serve as pallbearers.
