The visual culmination of the joint venture partnership between Lifepoint Health and Ascension Saint Thomas shined brightly over Gallatin last week. For the first time, the health system Highpoint Health with Ascension Saint Thomas, lit the signs at its Gallatin location.
At the “Light the Night” event, the evening began with music, mingling, and heartfelt remarks from esteemed leaders, including Rod Harkleroad, CEO of Highpoint Health, and Fahad Tahir, CEO of Ascension Saint Thomas. The highlight of the night was the blessing and ceremonial lighting of the new sign, symbolizing a new chapter in the hospital’s 65-year history of serving the community.
“This is more than just a new sign but rather a new chapter in the story of this great hospital,” said Harkleroad. “We will reflect on the significance of light in our mission and in the work we do every day.”
As the night progressed, the atmosphere was filled with a sense of unity and purpose. The community gathered for a responsive reading led by Rev. J.B. Chapman, reflecting on the significance of light in the hospital’s mission to be a beacon of hope, healing, and health. With the illumination of the sign, staff members renewed our dedication to providing compassionate, excellent healthcare to all. It was an evening to remember, filled with inspiration and a shared vision for a brighter future.
