Hendersonville Pig Fest Raises Money for Local Non-Profits

The Fourth Annual Hendersonville Pig Festival will take place on October 27 and 28 at Veterans Park. On Friday night, Hometown Jam will open the event with a concert featuring the Grammy Award Winning Kentucky Headhunters, and on Saturday there will be food trucks, vendor booths, a Kidz Zone, pig races and much more. This year the event will be supporting Mary’s Magical Place, LiveLoveNashville, Grace Place and Christmas4Kids.

Tickets to the concert on Friday night can be purchased here. General Admission will be $10 per person with kids under 12 being free, and they do not need a ticket. Those purchasing a VIP Ticket for $100 will receive one concert ticket, access to the VIP tent area with food catered by The Cajun Steamer, complimentary non-alcoholic beverages and two drink tickets, a Pig Fest Hat, and a Pig Fest T-shirt. There are only 100 VIP tickets.

Playing previous to the Kentucky Headhunters will be guest musicians Dillon Carmichael, Clint Park, Ben Chapman and Charly Reynolds. Gates will open at 5:00 p.m. with the concert starting at 6:00 p.m. The park closes at 11:00 p.m.

On Saturday, the free backyard barbecue event will open at 10:00 a.m. with the Awards Ceremony Judging at 3:30 p.m. More than 45 different teams are currently entered in the competition.

Sign-up for the Corn Hole Tournament begins at 8:30 a.m. and closes at 11:00 a.m. It is $50 per team. The Corn Hole Tournament begins at noon on Field 1. Also, during the day there will be more music and lots of activities for the family. The festival ends at 5:00 p.m.

Veterans Park is located at 140 Scotch Street in Hendersonville, Tennessee. The event is produced by Hendersonville Parks and Recreation.
