A six-week shutdown period of the grass athletic fields at Drakes Creek Park and Volunteer Park began this week, on June 12
Hendersonville Parks Department is making repairs and prepping the fields for upcoming seasons. The process includes installing over 25,000 square feet of sod, aerification and top dressing to these fields.
During this time there should be no one on these fields and field closed signage will be out.
The grass athletic field at Memorial Park is temporarily closed at this time as workers complete the installation of the new lights there.
