October 30, 2023 – The Goodlettsville man killed Monday just after 1 a.m. in a single-vehicle crash in the 2300 block of Gallatin Pike is identified as Gregory Elliott, 59.
The preliminary investigation shows that Elliot was driving his 2007 Chrysler 300 east on Gallatin Pike when he failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway, striking a large utility pole before rolling over. He died at the scene.
Speed appears to be a contributing factor to this fatal crash. There was no evidence of impairment at the scene.
