2025 Events at the Nashville Zoo

In addition to visiting the Nashville Zoo for its exhibits, the Zoo hosts special events throughout the year, often held after hours to give you a different perspective of the zoo.

Nashville Zoo is located at 3777 Nolensville Pike, Nashville.

Here is a list of upcoming events so far this year.

1Zoolumination

Continuing until February 9, 2025

Zoolumination®, presented by Anheuser-Busch, returns this winter with all-new lantern scenes! Visit the country’s largest lantern festival with over 1,000 custom-made silk lanterns.

2Nashville Zoo Breakfast Awards

January 8, 2025

You can join us as we celebrate those who have been instrumental in helping the Nashville Zoo grow and become the organization it is today. This event, presented by Truist, will be hosted at the Loveless Café Barn.

3Souper Bowl Food Drive

February 7, 2025

To show our love for the local community we are partnering with Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee to host a food drive to support Tennessee residents. Nashville Zoo is asking for donations of shelf-stable food and the Zoo is offering a complimentary admission ticket when you donate four or more eligible food items (max of two tickets per household/donation).

4Music City Puppy Bowl

February 9, 2025

It’s game day at Nashville Zoo! Get ready for an un-fur-gettable day as we team up with Nashville Humane Association for the Music City Puppy Bowl. Adoptable puppies will hit the field for the big game that will feature tail-wagging touchdowns and the chance to welcome a new furry friend into your home.

5Zoo Run Run

March 1, 2025

Join a herd of runners at Zoo Run Run! This winter race takes runners and walkers on a 5K adventure throughout the Zoo’s property, including areas not available to the public. Families and children are encouraged to bundle up as they hit the trail. Proceeds from  Zoo Run Run help fund the Zoo’s conservation work.
