White House Public Services Department was notified that GFL Environmental Inc. has been acquired by Waste Management Inc. of Tennessee, effective May 1st.
“Waste Management is certain that they will continue to meet the high service standards White House residents have come to expect from dealing with GFL, and both companies are coordinating the business transition to ensure there is no disruption in service,” the City of White House said on their Facebook.
Citizens won’t be effected immediately Waste Management trucks, trash carts, and recycling carts will eventually be seen within the city.
The City recently signed an agreement with GFL Environmental for trash and recycling services that Waste Management is willing to adhere to. This new agreement is effective July 1st.
