Early this morning, a traffic stop led to the arrest of a wanted man and the recovery of a significant amount of methamphetamine.
During the stop, K-9 Jax alerted on the vehicle, leading to a search that uncovered approximately 14 ounces of methamphetamine. The passenger was also confirmed to be wanted out of Texas on domestic violence related charges.
“Great work by our deputies and K-9 team in keeping dangerous drugs and wanted offenders off our streets,” Sumner County Sheriff’s Office said.
