Teen Charged In Gallatin Shooting That Left One Dead

Gallatin Police have charged an 18-year-old in connection with a shooting that left one teen dead and another injured, WSMV reports.

Officers were called to Drivers Lane around 4 a.m. on October 23 for reports of gunfire. When they arrived, two young men, ages 18 and 19, were found with gunshot wounds and taken to local hospitals. The 19-year-old, identified as Kyris Brassell, later died from his injuries. The 18-year-old victim has since been released.

Police arrested Monte’Vious Bost, 18, who is now charged with second-degree murder and attempted second-degree murder.
