The construction phase of the Walton Ferry/Old Shackle Realignment Project is slated to begin in February.
The project, which stretches from Nokes Drive to Volunteer Drive, includes reconstruction, realignment, and widening for approximately one mile.
The improvements are intended to address congestion, improve safety, and accommodate growth in this rapidly developing area.
The estimated completion date is May 2027.
If you would like to learn more about this project, TDOT is hosting an open house and informational meeting on January 22.
