Mrs. Margaret Lancaster West, age 80, of Lafayette, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at The Waters of Gainesboro.
Funeral services for Margaret West are scheduled to be conducted on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at 1 PM, from The Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Pastor David Spears officiating. Interment will follow in The Underwood Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, from 4 PM until 8 PM, and on Thursday from 9 AM until service time at 1 PM.
She was preceded in death by:
- Son, James West;
- Daughter, Michele Woodard;
- Parents, Ferrell Lancaster and Dessie Johnson Lancaster;
- And her brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Margaret West is survived by:
- Husband: Hershel O. West
- Daughter: Stephanie Trisdale and husband, Jeff
- Son: Craig West and wife, Connie
- Grandchildren:

- Sierra Stafford
- Trevor Trisdale
- Tyler Trisdale
- Emma Trisdale
- Kyle Woodard
- Kaitlyn Woodard
Seven Great-Grandchildren also survive.
