July 31, 2024 – From July 29 to 31, 2024, Sumner County Sheriff’s Office collaborated with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, Gallatin Police Department, Hendersonville Police Department, and Portland Police Department on a critical initiative to enhance community safety.
During this operation, 65 registered sex offenders were located as part of ongoing efforts to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
Unfortunately, 7 individuals in the county were found to be non-compliant. In response, two arrests have been made, and warrants are pending for the remaining individuals.
Additionally, Brandon Kirby, who has absconded from the registry and is listed as violent against children, is wanted by the Sheriff’s Office.
