After two decades of dedication, Station Camp High School’s football stadium has been officially renamed Art Crook Stadium, a surprise organized by the school’s staff to celebrate their principal as he prepares for retirement.

A true Bison at heart, Crook has never missed a football game in his 20 years as principal, always standing on the sidelines in support of his students, athletes, and community.

To mark the occasion, the entire Station Camp staff showed their appreciation by wearing Tennessee Vols gear—Crook’s favorite team. They added another surprise last Friday by sporting matching shirts featuring a picture of him from his early teaching days at Beech High School, where he began his career.

With more than three decades as a teacher and principal, Crook’s impact on Sumner County Schools is immeasurable. As he looks ahead to retirement at the end of this school year, Art Crook Stadium will stand as a testament to his leadership, commitment, and the lasting influence he has had on Station Camp.

We are grateful for Mr. Crook’s dedication and wish him all the best in his well-earned retirement!
