There were no local teams playing last night. The Nashville Sounds, the Nashville Predators, and the Memphis Grizzlies all had the night off. The Vanderbilt Commodores and Tennessee Volunteers baseball teams had a bye as they prepare for the SEC Tournament later this week. Without any sports action going last night, here are some of the news highlights on your favorite teams.

Tennessee Titans:

The Julio Jones trade rumor was lit on fire yesterday when Shannon Sharpe called Julio Jones live on air. To say the least, Jones does not believe he will be back in Atlanta next season. One of the favorite landing spots for Jones is Tennessee. Last week, we saw Derrick Henry tweet out his feelings about Julio joining the Titans, and over the weekend the two could be seen on social media working out together. It all comes down to whether the Titans Front Office can make some moves to clear up enough cap space to trade for Julio’s big contract hit. Until then, all anyone can do is dream about seeing Jones in two-tone blue.

Nashville Sounds:
The Nashville Sounds’ Keston Hiura was called up to the major leagues to join the Brewers yesterday. The infielder has been on a hot streak lately. He was batting .438 with 4 home runs with the Sounds. Hiura joins the Brewers in their home series against the Padres, and currently, Milwaukee sits just three games behind first in the NL Central.
