On December 16, 2024, the Hendersonville Police Department conducted compliance checks to ensure that businesses in the City of Hendersonville were adhering to laws regarding the sale of alcohol and tobacco products to minors. A total of 27 businesses were checked, and six (6) businesses did not comply with the requirements of the law pertaining to the sale of alcohol to minors. As a result of this operation, the following individuals were charged.
- 1082 W. Main Street -Exxon – Christopher Hulsteine (49)
- 109 Walton Ferry Road Unit # B- New Ashes Tobacco Beer Market – Pamela Wilson (52)
- 150 Curtis Crossroads- Curtis Crossroads Market- Vipulkumar Patel (38)
- 267 Indian Lake Blvd – Shell Gas Station- Joshua Nelson Junior (20)
- 768 East Main Street- Thorton’s Gas Station- Gary Mason (58)
- 555 East Main Street- Bluegrass Beverages- Richard Kampa (68)
The Hendersonville Police Department would like to thank the businesses that were in compliance and encourage all businesses that serve or sell alcohol and tobacco to adhere to the law requirements to keep our underage citizens safe.
