We regret to report that retired Field Training Officer Danny Deyhle passed away early this morning September 13, 2022. FTO Deyhle was hired on 11/27/81 and retired on 1/02/15.
He spent many years as an FTO and was considered a “dang good one” by many of his fellow officers. He specialized in the traffic unit and spent much of his time there. His last few years with the department were spent in our Evidence Department where his attention to detail did not go unnoticed.
FTO Deyhle was known for his delicious deviled eggs and even after he retired he would still attend our pot lucks here at the department and always brought them with him. He will be missed by so many.
