William “Ron” Hosse, age 73 of Gallatin passed away January 14, 2022.

Ron was born on March 3, 1948 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Bill and Jean Hosse.

In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his son, William Brandon Hosse.

He is survived by his daughters, Lynn Hosse Tucker (John) and Ashley Hosse Colonello; companion, Deborah Davis; grandchildren, Tanner Tucker (Katlin), Brandon Tucker, Bailey Tucker, Nicole Mattix, Rudy Colonello, Rhylee Colonello, and Stephen Romine; and brothers, Dan Hosse (Sandy), Michael Hosse (Cindy) and Steve Hosse (Tina).

Ron was a proud graduate of Middle Tennessee State University and was an educator for over 50 years. He began his career at Smyrna High School, he worked with the State of Tennessee Board of Education and the Sumner County Board of Education where he retired with over 30 years of service. Ron was a longtime member of First Baptist Church Gallatin and enjoyed traveling the globe on several different mission trips over the years. Most of all, Ron was an extremely proud grandfather who loved his family dearly.

Funeral Services for Ron will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. from First Baptist Church Gallatin on Main Street. Private burial services will be held in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be on Monday, January 24th from 4-7 P.M. and Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until service time all at First Baptist Gallatin.

    I was in your classes at Smyrna High School, class of 1976. Your encouragement was the only reason I graduated,class of 1976.
