Mr. William “Bill” Johnson of Gallatin, Tennessee passed away on Monday, August 29, 2022, he was 79 years old.
Mr. Johnson was born September 30, 1942 in Smith County to the late Roy Lee Johnson and Lorene Butts Johnson.
He is survived by wife of 50 years, Janice L. Smith Johnson of Gallatin; daughter, Christina Leann Lauffer (Paul) of Gallatin; 3 grandchildren, Austin Demonbreun (Katie), Peyton Maxey, and Gavon Maxey; and 2 great-grandchildren, Kimber Graves Demonbreun and William Lee Demonbreun.
Mr. Johnson served our country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
Graveside Service, with Military Honors, will be Tuesday, September 6th at 3:00 p.m. at Crestview Memory Gardens, with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 6th from 1:00 p.m. until time to leave for the cemetery at Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin.
