Virginia Frances Bruce, age 84, of Portland, passed away on March 7th, 2025 at Tri-Star Hendersonville Medical Center. Mrs. Bruce was born in Portland on November 24th, 1940 to the late Leonard Clarence Perdue & the late Sarah Frances Brooks.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bruce was preceded in death by her sister, Polly Wright.
Mrs. Bruce is survived by her husband, Billy Bruce; son, Steve (Darlene) Bruce of Portland; grandsons, Chad (Courtney) Bruce & Chase (Chassity) Bruce; great grandchildren, Lane Bruce, Hallie Bruce, Lawson Bruce, Korie Bruce, Maddox Bruce, & Billy Bruce; sister, Kathy Meadows of Portland; & several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service for Virginia Bruce will be at 1:00 pm on Thursday, March 13th, 2025 at Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home with Bro. Terrell Somerville.
Visitation for Virginia Bruce will be on Tuesday, March 11th, 2025 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, on Wednesday, March 12th, 2025 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm, & on Thursday, March 13th, 2025 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home.
Interment will be at Maple Hill Cemetery.
