Mr. Tommy Scruggs, Jr. age 94 of Hartsville, TN passed away Sunday, March 15, 2026 at Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital, Lebanon, TN.
Preceded in death by: Parents, James Richard & Maggie Beal Scruggs; Children’s Mother of 34 years, Ella Mai Oliver Scruggs; Daughter, Linda Marie Scruggs; Second Wife of 34 years, Patricia Ann Scruggs; 3 Brothers, James, Buck & William Scruggs and Sisters, Jewell Moore, Susie Warner, Mable Presley and Jimmie Neal Scruggs.
Survived by: 2 Sons, Jerry Scruggs of Hartsville, TN and Terry (Mary) Scruggs of Watertown, TN; 4 Daughters, Tammy (Eric Peloquin) Scruggs of Lebanon, TN, Wanda Hodges of Portland, TN, Teresa (Richard) Phillips of Gallatin, TN and Tammy (Jason) Aulds of Hartsville, TN; 20 Grandchildren, Matthew (Julie) Scruggs, Jennifer Scruggs Brown, Tiffany Hodges Gray, Jeremey D. Scruggs, Heather (Jeremy) Drennon, Wesley (Jaime) Hodges, Tyler Scruggs, Justin (Erica) Scruggs, Kerry Alan Scruggs, Zachary Ryan Scruggs, Marissa Thompson, Alicia Jennings, Madison Jennings, April Bowser, Audra (Andrew) Limparos, McKenzie Etinear, Joshua Kane Greer, Josh (Valerie) Stack, Brenee Key & J.D. Key; 18 Great Grandchildren; 10 Great Great Grandchildren; Sister, Doris Sue (Wayne) Brawner of Green Grove, TN and Numerous Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Anthony Funeral Home at 2 PM Friday, March 20, 2026 conducted by Bro. Easton Drennon and Bro. Dewey Dyer. Interment will be in the Hartsville Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 12 Noon to 8 PM Thursday and 10 AM until service time Friday.
