Mrs. Ruth Ann Browner, of Portland, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2022, she was 66 years old.
Mrs. Browner was born May 24, 1955 in Gallatin to the late G. V. Scruggs and Rosie Key Scruggs.
Mrs. Browner attended Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church. She was a volunteer at Clyde Riggs Elementary School.
She is survived by husband of 49 years, Robert Browner of Portland; daughter, Kristie Browner Woods of Portland; brother, Henry Scruggs of Gallatin and Leroy Scruggs (Betty) of Gallatin; sister, Rose Woodard of Gallatin; and 4 grandchildren, Kaleb Woods, Noah Woods, KeyleeAnn Woods, and Kallee Woods.
Graveside Service will be Monday, March 7th at 11:00 a.m. at Old Brush Cemetery, with Bro. Nick Baskerville officiating and Kaleb Woods, Noah Woods, Zach Bingaman, Tommy Thompson, Mark Short, and Rocky Baskerville serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Sunday, March 6th at Family Heritage Funeral Home from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. and Monday, March 7th from 9:00 a.m. until time to leave for the cemetery.
