Rose Marie Cabrera, age 69, of Portland, passed away at her residence on February 8th, 2025. Mrs. Cabrera was born in Rockford, IL on August 6th, 1955 to the late Ollis Glenn Tanner & the late Mary Margaret Clapp.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cabrera was preceded in death by her son, Eduardo Aguirre Jr.; siblings, Debra Davenport & Robert Tanner.
Mrs. Cabrera is survived by her children, Tonya M. Aguirre of Rockford, IL and Maria (Peter) Hernandez Sr. of Portland, TN; grandchildren, Alexandro Marquez of Rockford, IL, Antonio Marquez of Rockford, IL, Peter Hernandez Jr. of Portland, Maiya Hernandez of Portland; siblings, Sherry Tanner of Georgia, Mark King of Rockford, IL; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, & cousins.
The family has chosen cremation and a memorial service will be announced at a later date.
