Rodica Popa, beloved mother, sister and aunt, passed away peacefully at her home in Hendersonville, Tennessee on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at the age of 49. Born on March 11, 1975 in Romania, she was the cherished daughter of the late Ioan and Pena HARIUC.
A strong and determined woman, Rodica graduated from the Academy of Economics at the Dunarea de Jos Galati University. She faced life’s challenges with unwavering courage, raising her beloved son, Eric-Bogdan, after the death of her beloved husband, Titi, in November 2017. Her resilience, kindness and boundless love for her family will always be remembered.
Rodica leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion, survived by her son, Eric; her loving sisters, Liliana and Doina, and her dear brothers, Ionel-Romica and Stefan. She was also a cherished aunt to her adored nieces and nephews: Geanina, Andrea-Alexandra, Denisa, Erica, Eduard-Alexandru and Darius-Stefan.
Her warmth, strength and generous spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 13 from 4pm til 8pm at Alexander Funeral Home in Gallatin. Visitation will continue on Friday, February 14 from 11am til 1pm. A celebration of life service will be held at 1pm. Burial will follow in Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
