Murray Bryant Tatum was born on December 26, 1933, to Murray Alexander Tatum and Bradie Knight Tatum of Nashville, Tennessee. Bryant passed on the morning of January 23, 2025, at his long-time home in Hendersonville, Tennessee.

Bryant found incredible joy singing with the Golden Aires Quartet. Bryant’s second joy was playing baseball and softball until the age of 82.

Whenever Bryant’s name is mentioned, it is met with praise and adoration. He was kindhearted, loved animals and had an infectious smile.

He will be greatly missed, until we all meet again.

Bryant is preceded in death by his parents Murray and Bradie Tatum; his son Kirk Tatum; grandson Stephen Jerome Tatum; and his sister Peggy Adams.

He is survived by his loving wife Sammie Tatum; daughter Lisa Greenhalgh; and numerous grandchildren along with extended family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1. 2025, from 12pm-2pm at Hendersonville Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2pm in the Chapel at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Hendersonville Memory Gardens. https://www.hendersonvillefh.com
