Mary Fernandez Guzman, age 83, of Gallatin, entered into eternal rest on Friday, December 13, 2024, with her family by her side.
She was born on June 30, 1941, in Houston, Texas, to her parents, Vincente Fernandez and Mary Arredondo.
Mary devoted her life to her family. She was the most loving and caring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Mary was an amazing cook, and she always had a plate for everyone. Her family will remember her for the strength she had over the years, and all the laughs they shared. She was gone too soon, and her memory will be truly cherished.
Mary Fernandez Guzman is survived by her children, Irene Lee, Raymond Guzman Sr., Mary Lou Munguia, Ruby Juarez, Richard Guzman, Roy Guzman; grandchildren, Bertha Guzman, Craig Lee, Pablo Guzman, Mercedes Hall, Raymond Guzman Jr., Isabel GArcia, Crystal Guzman, Fransico Guzman, Jorge Guzman, Douglas Guzman, Maria Guzman, James Valverde, Romeo Munguia, Juliette Munguia, Royisha Guzman, Ida Guzman, Elijah Guzman, Anna Marie Guzman, Joseph Guzman, Destinee Guzman; many great-grandchildren; and sister, Corina Segundo.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Jesse Valverde; father, Vincente Fernandez; mother, Mary Frances Arredondo; and siblings.
Funeral services in honor of Mary Guzman, will be held at Crestview Funeral Home, on Saturday, December 21, 2024. Visitation with the Guzman family will be held from 10:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. https://www.crestviewfh.com
Mary Guzman’s celebration of life will be at 2:00 P.M.
Burial in Crestview Memory Gardens will immediately follow. Those serving as pallbearers are Roy Guzman, Douglas Guzman, Romeo Munguia, Julian Diaz, Joseph Guzman, and Jorge Guzman.
