Marvin Ray Pilkinton, age 81, of Portland, passed away on March 25th, 2025 at his residence in Portland. Mr. Pilkinton was born in Nashville, TN on December 28th, 1943 to the late Buford Ray Pilkinton & the late Martha Virginia Baker-Pilkinton.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Pilkinton was preceded in death by his nephew, Joseph McDaniel; sister, Marsha Pilkinton Tibbets.
Mr. Pilkinton is survived by his children, Barry Ray Pilkinton, Sean Thomas Pilkinton, Kevin Charles Pilkinton, & Jaclyn Denise Watson; sisters, Anita Pilkinton Slaughter (Ronald Eugene Slaughter II), Lisa Pilkinton (James Keith) Law; brother, Larry Pilkinton; niece, Mary Vanessa (Jeremy) Harl & Jennifer McClellan; nephews, Jeremy McDaniel, Christopher Daniel Slaughter, Stephen Noah Ray Slaughter, Ronald Eugene Slaughter III, & John Joseph Slaughter.
Funeral service for Mr. Pilkinton will be at 3:00 pm on Thursday, March 27th, 2025 at Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home with Carroll Carman officiating.
Visitation for Mr. Pilkinton will be on Thursday, March 27th, 2025 from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm at Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home.
