OBITUARY: Margaret Holland Dotson

Mrs. Margaret Holland Dotson, age 79, of Lafayette, passed away Thursday, May 1, 2025, at Knollwood Manor. Funeral Services for Margaret Dotson are scheduled to be conducted on Sunday, May 4, 2025, at 2 PM, from The Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Elder Daniel Cook and Elder Stacey Troutt officiating. Interment will follow in The Enon Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at the funeral home on Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 3 PM until 9 PM, and on Sunday from 10 AM until service time at 2 PM.

Family respectfully requests donations be made towards the funeral expense.

Margaret was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and Friend to many. She and Dwight raised one daughter and three grandsons in a stable and loving home, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her Parents, Carlos “Shorty” Holland and Edna Genell Mahaney Holland; and Brother, Jimmy H. Holland.
