Linda Sipe Hardaway passed away after a brief illness on Thursday, August 10, 2023.
Proceeded in death by her beloved husband, L. Hall Hardaway Jr., parents J. Clyde Sipe and Jeanne Bartee Sipe, sister Shirley Mitchell and son-in-law Bill Branch.
She is survived by her children Cathy Hardaway Branch, Stan Hardaway, (Debbie), Kay Goodrum (Jack); grandchildren Blake Hardaway, Brett Hardaway (Lexie), Natalie Kelly (Mark), Jack Goodrum Jr., Cate Goodrum, Bonnie Branch, Caitlin Bird(Cris); four great-grandchildren and her sister Gayle Batey; three nephews and two nieces.
Linda was born in Louisville, Kentucky on September 15th, 1938.
She graduated from Isaac Litton High School and Baptist School of Nursing. She was a dedicated member of First Baptist Church Hendersonville for over 61 years. She and her husband Hall Hardaway raised their three children in Hendersonville on Old Hickory Lake. She worked as a registered nurse for almost 30 years and loved her profession.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2023, from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm with a Celebration of Life to follow in the Chapel at First Baptist Church Hendersonville, 106 Bluegrass Commons Blvd. Interment will follow. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
