John Stanley Krawczyk, age 74, of Portland, TN, passed away on October 24, 2025, surrounded by his family and friends.
He was born on October 14, 1951, in Hartford, CT, to the late Walter and Sophie Krawczyk.
John was first and foremost a devoted follower of Jesus, and a dedicated member of Fountain Head Church of Christ in Portland, TN. He proudly served with distinction as a Pentagon Force Protection Agency Lieutenant in Washington, DC for 33 years. John’s kindness, generosity, and deep devotion to his family, faith, and country made him a beloved figure to all who knew him. To know him was to love him.
John shared 33 wonderful years of marriage with his first wife, Rhonda Oz Krawczyk, who preceded him in death in 2011. In 2014, John was blessed to find love again with his wife, Jane Sulzbach, who survives him.
He is survived by his children: Courtney Michelle Oz Burch, Jenny Wilson, Julie Justice, Walter John Sulzbach, and his sister: Francie Castle. He was a proud “Paw” to six grandchildren.
Visitations will be held on both Wednesday, October 29th from 5:00-7:00 pm, and October 30th from 3:00-4:00 pm, with the funeral service following directly after at 4:00 pm on Thursday evening. Visitations & services will be held at Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home in Portland, Tennessee.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Fountain Head Church of Christ in Portland, TN.
