Harold B. Knight Sr., 82 of Portland, TN, passed Saturday, October 16, 2021 at his residence; he was born October 1, 1939 to the late Horace G. Knight and Pauline (Dixon) Knight in Macon County.
Along with his parents, Mr. Knight was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Averett.
Mr. Knight is survived by his wife, Judy Kidd Knight; their two sons, Harold B. Knight Jr.(Hal), wife Pam; David Randall Knight, wife Kim. He leaves behind four grandsons, Joshua Knight(Karen), Joel Knight(Janell), Dalton Knight, and Drake Knight, four great-grandchildren, Enoch Knight, Ellie Knight, Gavin Knight, and Leia Knight. Mr. Knight is also survived by his sister, Marie Holloway, and he leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Mr. Knight preached for Sumner County Churches of Christ for over 50 years. He also enjoyed farming and selling tractor and auto parts.
Funeral services for Mr. Knight will be Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Wilkinson Wiseman Funeral Home, with Ralph Kidd and Ronnie Kidd officiating, with visitation on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 from 5-8 p.m. and on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m.(funeral time) all at Wilkinson Wiseman Funeral Home.
Following the service, interment will be in Portland Memorial Gardens.
Serving as pallbearers for Mr. Knight, will be his sons and grandsons, Randy Knight, Hal Knight, Joshua Knight, Joel Knight, Dalton Knight, and Drake Knight, with his great-grandsons, Enoch Knight and Gavin Knight, serving as Honorary Pallbearers.
