On November 20, 2021 Gwen left this world and walked right into the arms of her Savior Jesus. Her first order of business was to look into his precious face. She was greeted by her parents, Standford and Nell Lasaster, bonus sister, Joan Walker; grandson, Travis Sanders, and many other loved ones.
Gwen graduated from Isacc Litten in 1961 and began her career at BellSouth where she retired in 1991. After which she divided her time between the preschool department at FBC Hendersonville and her own grandchildren.
Gwen is survived by her daughter, Angelia (Jimbo) Staton; son, Gene (Jennifer) Sanders; sister, Gayle Lasater and Gloria (Doug) Smith. Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral service will be held at Hendersonville Funeral Home, 353 East Main Street, in Hendersonville on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at 2 P.M. Visitation with friends and family will be held from 11 A.M. until service time.
